Current Issues Concerning AFGE Local 200

STATUS OF NEGOTIATIONS

  • 46 Work Rules Articles have been Temporarily Agreed Upon (TAU)
  • There are a few Articles at Impasse (the Union believes these may quickly be agreed upon if the Pay Plan is completed)
  • Pay Plan
    • The Union has submitted a Proposal and 4 Counterproposals (all written)
    • The Agency has Proposed "Core Comp" four times (written once)
  • The Union believes we are close enough to avoid conflict and are willing to move towards a signed contract
  • It is the Union's goal to have a signed contract before September 2007, but we are hopeful to come to terms well in advance of that date

FAA DRESS CODE

  • Rumors abound on the Dress Code issue
  • The Union has obtained a copy of FAA Human Resources Policy Manual (HRPM) EMP-1.25 - PROFESSIONAL DRESS
  • This HRPM was not delivered to the Union nor is it on the FAA Human Resources Web Site
  • The Union has no knowledge of FAA attempts to implement this policy chapter
  • This policy will not apply to AFGE Local 200 Employees Without Negotiation
